On May 5th we walked in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies.  We walked 3.5 miles!  And yes I made it barely!  Bob and Nancy and Nana came down from Lufkin, and Katrina (a friend of the Harvey Family) also came down to walk with us.  Nana stayed at the hotel she could not join us for the walk.  We had t-shirts made by my brother in law and sister Kevin and Sarah Brown, they were special just for our Team Wee One's Warriors.  Also this year they had a butterfly garden at the end of the walk.  Thank you to my mom and dad Mark and Mary Keyser for donating for Lexi's we have it here and it was special to see it hanging on the tree after that LONG walk.  We also want to thank EVERYONE for their support with prayers, well wishes, walking, and donating.  Every little bit raised helps and we raised $365 this year!  Hopefully we can raise more next year.  And maybe we can get more walkers for our team as well!  We all had a great time.  That evening we got together with some friends and Nate Matt's brother came down for dinner to celebrate Matt's graduation.  We went to Luigi's resturant here in Leander for some AWESOME Italian food.  After dinner Matt, Bob, and Nate went out for a drink and some father, son, brother time.  It was a great weekend!

Well I thought I would actually start this one now that we have 2 kids and this way we can keep up with all our family a little easier.


Lexi is 4 1/2 and in the ELE program at Block House Elementary still for one more year.  After next year she will start Kindergarten at the same school.


Drew started preschool in April.  He is enjoying playing with all of his new friends, and we have seen a big improvement in his vocabulary since he started.


Matt graduated Cuma Sum Laude from College in February we are very proud of him.


I am still staying home not working but enjoying the three mornings off when both kids are in school.  Until of course this is only until June when Lexi gets out of school for the summer.  I have a ton of fun stuff planned for her and while Drew is at school those three mornings this summer.  I am excited to get her her very FIRST library card from our library this summer.  


We are all healthy and well.  I hope to post at least once a week and keep you up to date on our comings and goings.
